Phase 2: support needed

We are facing a drug epidemic.

Approximately 19,807 Hamilton County residents are dependent on or abusing illicit drugs (Reversing the Tide, March 2015).

The total number of opioid deaths in Ohio for all of 2016 were 4,149, more than a 39% increase over the number reported for 2015.

Phase Two of Lead the Change Capital Campaign will expand capacity by retrofitting CAT's original building, which will allow for the opening of 15 new beds. In 2016, CAT provided medical detox to 1,228 patients and had space for 161 short-term residents (STR). Phase Two of Lead the Change will increase spaces for medical detox to 2,011 and spaces in the STR program to 436.
